A new Perch model

A new Perch model This is a new full size Perch model prototype based on the Generic. Being based on the Generic the bait action is very similar, the little hump on its back gives this one a bit more side to side action but it can still be fished as a jerk bait. These are 16cm and 110g slow sink.
A smaller Perch prototype

A smaller Perch prototype This is the result of crossing the Perch project with the ambition to create a series of smaller size baits. A Perch at 79g and 14cm, slow sinking.
The original Generic Jerk

The original Generic Jerk No, this is not THE original generic. But I am retiring THE original generic jerk, after what is most likely 100+ pike and some really nice memories I cannot risk loosing it any more and realize that I realized I stopped fishing it. So, I made a replacement using the original design, while doing so I made a few extras for you. You can read more about the Genric model on the project page.
Test fishing Generic prototypes

Testing Piketrapz baits We are in the beginning of Spring season with a few more weeks until the spawning season begins and fishing calms down for a few months. The pike is still feeding getting ready for the spawning season and are in top condition. This is an excellent time to get some fishing in and test some new baits. I am also testing a new mounting position for the gopro to take some fishy pictures, that worked out quite well.
A Generic Perch

A Generic in a Perch costume Here is a Generic in a Perch costume. This one is a slow sink that weighs in at 104g without hooks, that translates to about 109g with a size 2.0 treble under the belly and a size 1.0 tail hook using eagle claw 374 hooks. You can read more about the Genric model on the project page.
The first jack pike for sale

A first Jack Pike for sale The Jack Pike project is reaching a point where I can finally make some baits available, this is he first one for sale. This is the smaller version based on the Generic. Compared to the Generic this one is a bit thinner and weighted to glide a bit wider. This one is about 19 cm and weighs in at about 110g. The bait is near perfect suspending in fresh water.
The first Piketrapz Big Generic

The first Piketrapz Big Generics This is the first Piketrapz Big Generic for sale. I consider the Big Generic model to be finished now, you can read more about the Big Generic project here. This one is a slow sink Roach 19cm long and about 112g. Compared to the later prototypes this one is slightly thinner. The main reason for making the bait thinner is to shave of some weight making it easier to fish.
A Competition Lure

A first competition lure I am a member of a Facebook group Svenska Betesbyggare and they have an online competition this spring which I will participate in. This is my competition bait. It is a Big Generic in a hybrid finish where I used both a laminate and meta flakes together with some airbrushing. The bait is 19cm long and about 115g and very slow sinking. The laminate The laminate I have used for this bait is the last one of a few I made for my very first laminated baits.
A sponsor bait for st Anna Pike Open spring 2016

Sponsor bait for St: Anna Pike Open spring 2016 First of all, I don’t sponsor many competitions. I am not a competition fan. When it comes to St: Anna Pike Open I make an exception. The reason is the great work by the organizers towards a more sustainable competition which I support fully. Little things like alternating between competition areas to reduce fishing pressure, avoiding the spawning period and a mandatory membership in Sportfiskarna for participants makes a difference.
